I has so many pieces. I had a few things goings on the closet but we have most of our things in there. I use the cubes in the pantryThis is my second time purchasing this. Great product , awesome scent. Would always buy again for my closetSo much better than Moth Balls. Also safe for the environment.Nicely package, strong scent, hopefully it will workSo I love that these have some many options to place within the home. I have thrown some under the beds, laundry room, in the garage, hanging in the closet, etc. It's great. However, after I took them out of the package and maybe 24 hours later, I literally smell nothing. Now I wasn't expecting them to be strong and overbearing but I don't smell a hit of cedar anymore. Do I think they're working? Yea, maybe. Would I buy them again? Nope. Am I looking for a cedar spray to reapply the smell? Yes.All closets in the house.Easy to put in "sweater bags" to keep the Moths away. Great for ugg boots that went away until needed.Great for the outside pocket of a gym bag.I can't speak to how well they work yet, we just moved in. I got these because florida has a bad silverfish problem, and I'm hoping to prevent those little buggers from invading my new place. But, this variety pack is perfect for fitting everywhere and adapting to any space you need to put one inThe product actually seems to be OK... there are a lot of pieces in the kit, the hanger style blocks are very nice to put in closets and the bags work great in my hunting boxes but.... there is not a lot of scent on any of the wood. Even when I opened the box and expected to be floored by the smell of all the cedar there was very little to it. Perhaps this is a different species of cedar than we have in Canada, but if I put this much local cedar in a box you would be able to smell it from 50 feet away. I did try wetting some blocks and lightly sanded some others as suggested but that didn't seem to improve it much. That being said, I'm not totally unhappy but was expecting more I guess.Update:I thought it was only fair that I update my review with the results...After having the blocks hanging around my house and in boxes for about 3 weeks now, I have to say that I have seen FAR less of the tiny moths I used to have in my house all the time. They may not have that much smell to my senses, but seem to have more than enough to help out with the problem I was having. Upgraded review to 4 stars. The scent is fine, it’s not overly powerful but you can definitely smell them from the package. I have most of the cedar items placed in my closet, and when I open my closet you can definitely sense the cedar, without it being too pungent. So I am confused as to why some reviews are saying there is no scent..? It’s clearly there. I should also note that cedar blocks are a PREVENTATIVE measure. It does not KILL clothes moths. It’s more of a nuisance to them. These blocks should be an additive measure, not to be used by itself. For those who are only using cedar blocks and not seeing results, try some of these tips that worked for me:- clear out your entire closet- Throw out any damaged clothes beyond repair- Freeze suspected items that may been in contact w moths- Thoroughly wash and dry the rest of your clothes (or dry clean)- Deep clean closet (vaccuum, sanitize, wash, etc). Maintain cleanliness- Place any wool, cashmere items in sealed garment bags- Place seasonal items in vaccuum sealed bags- Fill your closet with moth balls, clothes moth traps, and THESE cedar blocksSource: I successfully got rid of a clothes moth problem by doing the above steps in ADDITION to adding cedar in my closet. The cedar blocks alone will not do anything. This product is great and serves a purpose in repelling moths from entering your closet.I'd rather use natural moth repellants than rely on chemicals, so this selection of cedar wood blocks and chippings offers that option. Although not cheap, it's easy enough to 'top-up' the effectiveness over time, by adding a few drops of cedar wood essential oil. This is a large enough pack to protect a family household from the dreaded moth!I ended up with an infestation of tiny moths this summer for some reason and short of vacuuming them up every time I saw one, they wouldn't stop coming. So in desperation I went looking for a solution and found the CedarFresh Clothes Protector and Moth Repellent and I am happy to say that no moths have been sighted since. Worked like a charm and I didn't have to use poisonous chemicals. Now, that's a win (not so much for the moths however)!Next day delivery takes 3 days.scent is pleasing but does not emit very strong, did some light sanding and it worst than before, have 3 people did scent test and they all said the un-sanded block is stronger than the sanded block. which leads to the conclusion that the scent is on the surface and it becomes worst if you sand it off.
