It's funny because I saw a couple videos here. Almost passed this oven by. One person saying they burnt their fingers but their video also shows them pulling the tray out way more than anyone ever would lol. They literally pulled it until it fell out lol. Another one has an insanely loud fan. Perhaps they dropped it or its faulty. I got this a little over a month ago and it works really great. I've used it for all kinds of things and I've had no problems at all. It's easy to use. Temperature control & cook time work great. The convection fan seems to help everything cook very even & faster. It's quiet. Tray hasn't fallen out lol. It works really well. It looks really good too. I couldnt be happier with it. Seems like it will last a long time. Easy to clean too. Now I lucked out as I see it's $149 now. Just 6 weeks ago I got it for $99 on a reduced price run here. I'm very happy i grabbed it then. Very happy with the purchase. I'd recommend it to friends.Makes too much noise...Great temperature control and easy to clean.Bought this to replace the old Farberware oven. It is much more efficient, easier to clean, top notch controls and display. We roasted chicken thighs in 25 minutes, baked potatoes in half the time of the old Farberware. Also the exterior does not get as hot as the old Farberware.Dollar for dollar, we made a good choice and it's a great value.*August 21 - UPDATEProduct started making loud noises when in operation. Like an internal fan hitting on something inside.i've requested a replacement, will update soon as I see what GE saysI’ve been loving this oven, but one thing I don’t like about it is that it shuts off when the timer is done. So make sure you set extra time so you don’t have to preheat it again. Also, it has started making a really loud noise when I turn it on. I turn it off and on again and most times it goes away. But sometimes it take me a couple of tries. It’s under warranty.I really wish this had a light inside it. I have to use a flashlight to check on things. Baking is rather even and temps seem accurate. The photo is of a Cheese Souffle I made in it. It came out beautiful. I wouldn't recommend roasting the 8# chicken (if it's a whole bird) like it advertised it could do. Rack will fall with just a casserole on it. Have to make sure it's put in the correct way. Lesson learned. I would think the fat off a chicken would start a fire in it since it's so cramped. Overall, it has been great. Makes wonderful baked potatoes, so fluffy inside. I have baked bread in it also and it came out great. Have to keep a close eye towards end of cycle because it can get too brown rather quickly. It said in ad that it came with Air Fryer utensils. It didn't and it's NOT an Air Fryer. All in all I am very happy with it. It does take experimenting with baking times etc and getting use to settings.Nice oven for a reasonable cost. Having some issues with changing temp and modes but still getting used to it.The toaster oven is better at the oven than the toaster functions. Heating up anything in it is fast and efficient; it gets hot enough during the preheat function to warm up most food. Love that it's so easy to reheat food! However our toast browns unevenly and sometimes the underside doesn't really get toasty at all on the "Toast one piece" setting, but if we turn up the setting to 4 pieces it works better. Or use the Bagel setting. Compact, utilitarian and good looking. Just what we need. Happy with the purchase.
