I have had a large Shadow-line half slip for years and it was seeming to be a little song in the waist. I ordered an extra large and it is essentially the same size waist. Should have gotten an xxl ?The slip was a little long for any over the knee lengthToo small- it is not a 3x, it fits more like a 1x.So, I ordered two slips. The 19 inch slip was NOT made by Shadowline and I'd rate it 2 stars. (It was made by some other company I've never heard of, had thinner fabric, cheaper lace, and cheap elastic; but it was inexpensive and worked in a pinch- so I kept it. Sometimes, it's easier not to send something back...which I'm sure seller is banking on.)The second, longer slip WAS made by Shadowline and was beautiful! 5 star rating. Thicker fabric. Drapes lovely. Great quality elastic and lace. It washes very well. This one will last for years! Love Shadowline products!Perfect fit.This slip is perfect to wear under see through garments. The material is soft and very comfortable on the skin.Length is ok but the stretchy fabric made the slip too clingy.Like the slip!!
